- Function: Supports both aerobic (outer pores) and anaerobic (inner pores) bacteria to complete the nitrogen cycle.
- Flow Rate Requirement: Must be used in water flow not exceeding 200 L (50 US gallons) per hour to maintain the low-oxygen environment required for denitrification. Higher flow rates render it strictly an aerobic filter.
